TYPES OF CLINICS

1. From the OMS Ribbon, select System Settings from the Settings drop down menu.

2. Select View/Modify Clinic Types and Fees.

3. The list of clinics can be sorted by Clinic Type Name or Online Only clinics.  Administrators can use the Edit link to modify any of the existing Clinic Types.
    

4. When the Edit link for a clinic is selected, the first dialog box will contain the detail for that clinic.  The example below is for the Referee – New Grassroots HYBRID clinic type.
   
          

5. Note that for the hybrid clinic in the example above, the PreRequisite Required box is checked which means that students MUST complete the online lessons prior to being placed on the final roster for the clinic.  
   
   For most entry-level clinics, the PreRequisite Required box has been checked since you will likely want students to finish this work prior to attending class.  If that is NOT the case, you can ask the OMS Admin to uncheck the box so that students who have not finished the lessons can attend.  
   
   For recert hybrid clinics, the online lessons are NOT required to be completed prior to class because you likely want to allow them to attend the class even if they have not finished the online lessons because they already have basic knowledge and experience and can finish the lessons after the fact (just withhold the badge until online lessons and any other requirements for recert are done).
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
6. The second screen, “Registration Types and Grades allowed to Attend Clinic” shows the following… 
      
                           

7. Finally, on the “Default Clinic Instructions” screen, you may want to enter standardized clinic information pertinent to your state or region.  
   
   

8. Press Save when completed.
